The Speyside Whiskey Shop
Why not visit the Speyside Whiskey Shop, located in the heart of Speyside Aberlour, that opened in October 2018.
We're situated on the central high street, offering plentiful free parking to all visitors and customers. The shop is surrounded by iconic whiskey distilleries, such as Balvenie, Glenfiddich distillery and Speyside. It is also filled with sights such as Cardhu, The Macallan, Aberlour and GlenAllachie. Our company stores and stocks up on a wide variety of multiple craft gins, tonic waters, whiskey and plenty of merchandise. Our business specialises in highly collectable single malt bottles of whiskey with a vast range of distilleries.
Our winter opening times are:
Monday - Saturday, 10.00 am - 5.00 pm
Our summer opening times are:
Monday - Sunday, 10.00 am - 6.00 pm
These times have extended opening hours, mostly during local festivals. Our friendly staff and whiskey sellers look forward to welcoming you into the shop.


Speyside Golf Experience
You can visit the Moray Speyside Golf Experience. We aim to promote the outstanding high-quality areas of Scotland with a year-round golfing collaboration experience. We collaborate and work closely with golf courses, visitor attractions alongside plenty of hotels and other accommodation property sites to create a fantastic welcoming experience that is memorable and enjoyable.
The company has ten founding members, five of which are golf clubs and all have been established businesses and organisations for over 100 years' located from the Highlands across to the North East coast and bays of Scotland. Each of these businesses and clubs delivers full-spectrum course styles to our golfers.
You could even visit Forres or Elgin, two former royal burghs situated in the North on the Moray Coast, for further sights to see during the day after a morning game of golf on your own or with the family.
The Keith & Dufftown Railway
Take the opportunity to visit the Keith and Dufftown's railway in Scotland filled with northern heritage.
Engulf in some of the most picturesque Scottish scenery as you travel your way down from Dufftown to enjoy the Malt Whiskey Capital of the World and further down to the Drummuir castle and halt at Drummuir.

Speyside's Goat Farm
Speyside's goat farm is a small Scottish farm that produces natural, high-quality Boer goat meat from its herd of goats.
The farm shop supplies yarns and skins from the sheep and goats in the pens, alongside various fabric products and quality meats.
All the animals reared on the farm and are taken to the abattoir by the farmers and shop owners, and we ensure we don't use hauliers.
Visitors can enjoy and share a cuddle with the young livestock and goats on-site. We're so proud and happy of the goats we grow and take care of, and we're sure they and the staff look forward to meeting you.


Ballindalloch Castle
For stunning sights, visit Ballindalloch, one of Scotland's most romantic and beautiful castles to see.
It is a much-loved family home, lived in by the Macpherson-Grants, the original family, since around 1546. The Ballindalloch is also known as the "Pearl of the North" and is the most magnificent, warm and welcoming surroundings of the Spey Valley.
It is stacked with family memorabilia and a stunning collection of 17th-century Spanish paintings by Sir John Macpherson-Grant in 1850 for all family members to learn its history.
Windswept Brewing Co. Taproom
Windswept Brewing Co, located in Lossiemouth, is a craft brewery set up by ex-RAF pilots Al Read and Nigel Tiddy, who had an extensive passion for outdoor sports in the stunning dramatic landscape's of Scotland and great tasting craft beers.
They offer visitors and customers an award-winning range of hand-crafted beers with unique, exceptional taste. We are proud to welcome all visitors and travellers to take a pit stop at our shop, brewery, and taproom and take one of our available tours.


Knockando Wool Mill
Whilst you're here, why not visit Knockando Woolmill, nestled in the very Highlands of Scotland. The wool mill ensures a tour where visitors can witness the craft of spinning, weaving and carding using the high-quality local wool passed down through numerous Scottish generations since 1784.
The shop here provides showcases that genuinely display the range of woollen blankets, accessories and scarves. The Knockando Woolmill creates small batches of various fabrics and yarns to suit the luxury market. Our professional's on-site use and knowledge on the many skills, historical methods, old traditions, and styles from 1784 have existed on the Scottish site.
Knockando Woolmill is situated 0.5 miles from the Speyside Way and is an ideal midway breakpoint for all distance cyclists and path walkers. On the section 4 route, from Craigellachie to Ballindalloch, the Knockando Woolmill is just down the road from the Tamdu station. The Tamdhu railway station offers a shop, visitor centre and shop and is the perfect stop location to purchase essentials for the rest of the journey.
Gordon Castle Walled Gardens
For those looking for a great day filled with stunning sights in the North-East region of Scotland, be sure to visit our beautiful Gordon Castle Walled Garden. The walled garden has been thoroughly restored to its former appearance and is a glorious sight to see for any traveller and visitor.
The cafe serves home-cooked, fresh food at our Walled Garden and a fantastic children's play area so that all family can enjoy a day out in Speyside. Luxury Scottish traditional food and drinks and hand-crafted gifts with some of the ingredients from our Walled Garden is offered for you to snack on and discover.
The family-friendly Scottish Garden offers products and attractions for everyone, including scarce plants and fruit trees for all avid gardeners and green thumbs.

Speyside travellers and visitors may want to be immersed in the local rewarding skill building practice of Woodcraft at Gedwood. Speyside Cooperage
Our award-winning five-star acorn to cask exhibition will whisk you through the journey of a casks lifecycle where all our visitors can witness our skilled and talented working coopers. They utilise all their years of experience using all the traditional tools and methods of the ancient barrel-making craft.
You may see our qualified Coopers with their apprentices and get the exciting chance to discover how they perform and learn this traditional ancient craft. Visitors can also witness the firing of casks where they will have many fantastic opportunities for photographs.
In the aftermath of the tour, the knowledgeable guides will escort you to a reserved area in our rustic barrel-themed coffee shop where you may enjoy an excellent wide selection of shortbreads, all locally made, and a dram of our finest 10-year-old malt whiskey. We especially bottle our whiskeys and offer them in Speyside Cooperage tasting glasses to be served to you to keep with all the vital tasting notes and flavours.
